Introducing Schumacher Magazine
In late February, as a first introduction to our magazine project, we recorded and published a short film on YouTube. Now, we want to reshare it on our website to offer a felt sense of the magazine’s ethos.
Created within the walls of the Old Postern, it captures the spirit of both the college and our initiative. The film was created ahead of our first edition’s release in March 2024, coinciding with our final residential gathering—all then-MA students together one last time before the college’s closure that summer.
It aimed at capturing the vitality of this last large gathering in the Old Postern, in all its richness and fabulous disorderliness. We also had in mind the wish to protect and propogate the import of it all whilst we were stil there and had the resources and connections to make that happen. We hope you find inspiration through watching this short film.
